Aimi AI: Chat With Soulful AI, developed by MapsPeople Inc and released on the App Store in November 2025, is a character-chat app positioned around "soulful AI companionship." It offers a diverse cast of AI characters, each with its own story, mood, and style; from lighthearted jokes to deep, reflective talks, Aimi adapts to your energy and emotions. The flow: after downloading, pick or browse a character and start chatting about your hobbies, dreams, or daily moments; Aimi learns how you communicate so conversations fit your tone and rhythm, and in goal-oriented companionship it can cheer you on and remind you of priorities. You can also customize a character's avatar to match its personality, and resume or restart anytime while staying in control of your chat history. The core mechanics are diverse character personas, mood-adaptive dialogue, custom avatars, and goal-oriented companionship. Key prerequisites: the app is free to download but uses a subscription and credit system to unlock full conversation and features; it is primarily iOS and English-only. The official site aimiappweb.com serves as the product entry point.
